Do you mean Castor oil?
If so, there are some article on the web about it...I googled castor oil hair growth and found many links like this one:
http://www.ehow.com/how_2278774_use-castor-oil-hair-loss.html
But as someone dealing with hairloss for 15+ years, that is one I haven't tried yet. I would suggest emu oil over castor oil because there are clinical studies showing the benefits of emu in kickstarting hair growth.
But I would personally recommend Folligen for Blondes (you can buy it here at EDS) applied every other night, followed by a little emu oil to help it penetrate. That has worked tremendously for me in the past. |

I have heard many people discuss putting Castor Oil on a cotton ball and rubbing their eyebrows for regrowth. I actually overheard the woman who threads my eyebrows telling this to a customer. As for it actually working, I am not sure.
Like everything you find, it will work for some and not work for others. While I have more than enough eyebrows to go around, I am curious to see if it works. For some reason I am shedding like crazy and wonder if Castor Oil would be great for my hair. |

I use castor oil on my lashes. It makes them fuller (not crazy fuller but fuller) but I dont think I've had any new growth from it. I think the castor oil some how prevents shedding.
I dont think there is any harm in giving it a try on your brows. You can also consider using latisse or the generic careprost on your brows. I've read of people having great success with that. |

Not Bethany,
But there are 2 formulas the regular has copper and the one specifically for blonds has tin. The copper one is what caused Bethany's hair to react and change color, hence the change to the tin one. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

That's so great to know!
I almost tried the samples of the Foligen shampoo & conditioner last night, and I'm blonde! Huh.. So Folligen for Blonds is the right one for me. |

Phew, Glad I answered (after reading what happened to Bethany) I sure wouldn't risk the regular formula if I were blond. What she used is for helping with thinning hair, but it's seems that erring on the side of caution best to avoid copper on blond hair!
Good Luck RussianSunshine ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

She is 100% correct...I pretty much advise everyone to avoid the copper-based Folligen unless you have black hair!
Why risk a color change if you can use Folligen for Blondes that works AND won't change your color? |
