Hi all,
I am currently using samples of cellcosmet products but have noticed that none of them contain sunscreen. What product would you recommend that I put over the moisturiser and eye cream to protect my face from the sun on an every day basis. |

Hi gillian,
From what I understand, if you're using a chemical sunscreen it should go on before moisturizer; after if it's a physical (titanium dioxide, zinc oxide) block. I love the Shiseido sunscreens. Elegant texture with a high high spf. Also, Diorskin and Jane Iredale make powder foundations with spf (18-20)which is a good way to layer sunscreens. Also think about two moisturizers, one with an spf and one without! Glad you're looking at ways to protect your skin. This is probably the most important anti-aging product of all! |

Really??? I always put on my sunscreens OVER my moisturizer! Regardless of whether it's chemical or physical. Yikes, am I totally negating the effects of the sunscreen? |

Ladies pleeese. Sunscreen is ALWAYS the LAST thing you put on your face, neck etc. You would be better off using a sunscreen only and skip the moisturizer. OR, OR wear a liquid foundation with spf 15 and use THAT as your sunscreen with a bit of your own favorite moisturizer underneath. Regardless, sunscreen is always the last thing you put on.

if your moisturizer and cream does not contain minerals then i would recommend Bioderma sunscreans im quite happy with using them and have been using them for over a year now. |

Before or after, over or under, I think the most important thing is that you're putting it on, period. And don't forget your hands! |

It's just mind boggling as to the number of sunscreen brands available on the market today. But still if you don't use it properly or according to the instructions, then your skin may be at risk.
Therefore, just to be sure I use an extra layer when I can by wearing sun protection clothing. |

I have always been told that sunscreen is the last thing you put on your face before your makeup! Thats the way I have been using it for years! |
