When I first began to wear foundation every day, the hardest thing was finding the exact match in a shade....after much trial and error I found it and have been using the same ones for a few years, with success.
Now, I find myself in a different situation.
My face is beginning to look a little too "paste-y" or "powder-y" and I suspect this is due to two things:
- I am getting older (aren't we all?
- I have been switching to physical sunscreens as opposed to chem sunscreens and this appears to be somewhat of an issue no matter what physical sunscreen I use.
So...here's my situation - I do not want the matte look (too aging) or the oily look (unattractive).
I want the dewy, glowing look LOL.
Here's my idea - use my same loose mineral foundation, but blend it with one of the shimmering foundations in a close match - say maybe add 10% or so...and mix together.
Too much shimmer only leads us to a job with the circus.
All other suggestions and comments most welcome!
Thanks, BF |

Maybe take a look at BE's Clear Radiance or Rose Radiance, I think there is another I can't recall the name right now. They work well for me, just a nice glow not a circus look! ![Bad Grin](images/smiles/badgrin.gif) |

What about mixing your loose minerals with your face cream? Or switching to natural liquid minerals altogether? |

NCN has some natural liquid minerals I think. |
