Hi,
I am a 29 year old girl and I have a quick question maybe you can help me with.
Around my mouth (especially my upper lip below my nose and at the ends of my mouth has always been a little "puffy" . Sometimes it gets so bloated or something that I can hardly see my upper lip.
My goal is to tone (or stretch) the skin around the mouth (specifically the upper lip area) for a more toned look, and to get higher cheek bones, with a sunken lower cheek area. Do you know what I mean? Maybe the right word is more "structure". I don't want to look like a skeleton per say but I don't want any fatty or puffy areas either.
Anyway, I am wondering if there are certain facial exercises and/or products that could help with this?
I am unwilling to get surgery done. I cannot afford it. What would be the best method such as exercises or products?
Thank you so much for your help and input. Have a joyeous day |

If you are puffy (bloated) the best advice I have for you is WATER. Drink a lot of water. If your body is not getting enough water it hold onto water in tissue.
As far as high cheek bones.....If you don't have them you won't get them. The best way to give an appearance of higher cheek bones is to learn to contour with makeup. Truly contouring can give amazing results.
Do you have any allergies that might be causing you to get puffy? |

I love to highlight and give a "lifting" illusion by using a light cream shimmer on top of the cheek bones under the eyes and up around the outside corners of the eyes. If you wanted to contour that a little more, you could fan your bronzer brush and sweep bronzer under the cheekbone for more shape.
For the lips.. m, definatley more water as suggested but im not sure how you could do it with makeup. I would be sure to use a darker shade of lipstick to bring the lips out, rather that lighter. And I would probably always do lighter eyes and bolder lips.
I just remember that bronzer works to narrow features or "sink them in" and highlighters work to bring out!
Hope that helps
