| Hello, I'm interested in this product for my neck, its $29 for 1 oz., seems like a good price, but does DMAE really have a tightening or toning effect? I had emailed Janson-Beckett a while back asking for the ingredients for their Revitalizing Eye Ampoules and I received a curt response that the ingredients for their Okusil are listed on their website, so I'm not rushing to buy from them or ask any more questions (I thought my neighbors here in NJ would be a little friendlier!). DMAE is the ingredient Dr. Perricone is always talking about, but I haven't heard good things about his products and so over priced. Anyway, lately I've been really searching for firming products for my neck, any experiences with this product or any recommendations for other products would be appreciated! Thanks much. |

I have been using the DMAE by Janson Beckett and like it very much. It has a tightening and toning effect on the skin. The best way to use the DMAE firming fluid is before any other product. I use it on my neck prior to AlphaDerma CE. It took about two weeks before I noticed the change using the fluid two times a day. When I started using it I wanted more firmness to my 59 year old neck. Must say I neglected my neck over the years. Under the AlphaDerma I have had wonderful results.
I have not tried the Eye Lid Ampules as of yet. I know Ruth Marion uses them and also beleive she uses the DMAE Firming Fluid. If I had them available to me I would list the ingredients for you.
I know if Ian heard you got a curt response from his company he would be very upset. He is right on top of it when it comes to customer service.
Although I am a sales rep. in New England for JB for the past month, I have been using their line for 5 months. Please let me know if I can help you with anything. I am a newby to the company but not their products.

Here we go cookie:
DMAE: demineralized spring water, DMAE bitartate, glycerin (veg), polysorbate 20, sodium chloride, simethicone, hydroxyethycellulous, methyl paraben.
Boy, I have bad eyes...you should see me trying to read this small print. Hope I spelled everything right. I'm going cross eyed  |

Their customer service has amazed me! If e-mailing hasn't worked for you then call them. They have a toll free number for the US & even to dial their regular number isn't that costly. Besides really enjoying their products one of the reasons I recommend them & use them myself is because of the customer service. Give them a chance - try again.
Oh, yes, the DMAE is very good.
The Vitalizing Serum for Eyelids contains the following: demineralized spring water, mulberry extract, lime extract, bitter orange extract,hesperidin compound,extract complex (hops,rosemary, horsetail, pine & lemon), hyaluronic acid, glycerin (veg) hydroexyethycellulose, methyl & propyl paraben, diazolidinyl urea. (I hope there isn't a test) Another thing that I like about the ampules is that they come with twist off caps. |

| And...the eye ampules last a long, long time. I have learned never to call JB in the evening or week-ends because they only take phone orders - they do not seem to be trained or equipped to answer questions. Customer Service during regular business hours is exceptional! |

We at JB Inc always help with questions pertaining to skin care even if it has nothing to do with our items. When our people are out to lunch or busy on the other line helping other customers your e-mails and phone calls are routed to a answering service so we can help as many customers as possible. The service replies to e-mails the best they can. The service is un aware of the At Home Spa Items, simply because there are just to many. If a customer e-mailed a question about an eye product they would not know about the eye lid serum and would naturally say goto the web for ingredients for the Okusil, not knowing you are talking about a different item completely. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but in the future please check to see if you are getting a responce from us or answer first which is our service.

Winnie and RuthMarion, thank you so much for posting the ingredients for the eye ampoules and the DMAE fluid! I don't buy any skincare/cosmetics without knowing the ingredients first. This forum and makeupalley are a wealth of knowledge and I'm so grateful to both for all I've learned about products, ingredients and the recommendations. I wouldn't have half my wonderful finds if it weren't for all the info shared on these boards, so its all Good!  |
