Hi everyone - Have had my TV for 18 months and it is the rechargeable kind. Today after it had recharged I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on - just dead with no lights.
Then I tried the regular nonrechargable battery
as they are supposed to be interchangeable -
and nothing again. They are warrantied for 12 months but it is now 18 months. Has anyone had this kind of problem?? I've played around with moving the wires etc. Am thinking of trying a small appliance repair somewhere - any thoughts?? All advice appreciated!! DiPhx

I have a dead Tua Viso too (battery operated). Admittedly I didn't know its history as it was second-hand from ebay. Two months after buying..completely dead Sad

I've been at a loss how to get it fixed and it's been gathering dust. Have you tried contacting the manufacturers as you paid full price? I know in my case they weren't interested, and offered me a new one for £240-ish.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but you're not the only one. Some advice how to get it working again for a decent price would be good Very Happy

Hi ljk,

Sorry to hear you're having this problem. I've had something similar with my Tua Tren'd, and then everything went back to normal after a while.

One option would be to contact the manufacturer in Italy, Vupiesse. Alternatively, if you are in Europe, you might like to send a mail to Ms Regina Bischof, who has always been very helpful.
Hope this helps.

Another dead TV here. In my case, the threads broke off when I unscrewed the piece that covers the pad (trying to replace the pad.)

The weak link may be something to do with the device using water and the electronic display? Though that's a very uneducated guess. In your case, Hermosa, uhm..not sure.

I enjoyed using the TV when I had it, I felt it was a good preventative measure for the future, though my face isn't exactly saggy. Perked up those tired eyes of mine, too.

I've got a shaver my sister's boyf needs repaired, thinking I may take it in there..you never know! Razz

Okay took my rechargeable battery to the battery
diagnostic place and it's not the battery so it must be the connection between the battery and
the on/off switch. I did send email to Vupiesse Italy to the manufacturer to see if there was a way to get it fixed. will let yoiu all know if I hear back. Am also going to check
the health websites for a simialr replacement
(like a tens or other small microcurrent machine which has similar features to the TV).
Am not going to spend that kind of money again for a machine that dies after 18 months.
If anyone knows of any reasonalbe healthsites which might sell tens or other small microcurrent machines - please let us know!!
thx DiPhx

Okay have some news - contacted Vupiesse and some distributor in N Africa who had repairs
advertised on her website. They both
referred me to a TV distributor here in USA
who I then emailed. He said they fix TV's and all I need to do is to send it in. Thx maximum
price to fix it would be $65. Am seriously thinking aboutt doing that first but I wnat to
find out if there is a warranty on the work.
Am sure there are distributors in Europe who also may fix the TV's - just email Vupiesse.

Okay quick update - the TV distributor in Texas said the repair would be guaranteed for a year
so am going to give it a shot. As I use it weekly, it is worth a try and once it gets back will let you all know how it goes! DiPhx

I've been super freaked out that my TV is going to die that I bought the Tua T'rend just in case. Now I'm kind of scared overall though. Shock

Hi Gretchen -

How are you liking the Tua T'rend? Do you find it better than the TV? Or just faster? I've been eying it for a while, trying to decide if it's the best new gadget for me. I'm looking for something to help with lower face sagging and side-of-mouth smile lines.

No need to be freaked out abuot TV's dying as according to the manufacturer's rep in TX most of these issues can be fixed so will let everyone know what I find out once it has been diagnosed! Who's to say the Tua Trend doesn't die as well??

Update on getting Tua Viso fixed - Talked with regenerations this morning and it was a dead
circuit board which is why the TV wasn't starting. They are including a new battery
although one is not needed yet (he said the original should do 400-500 starts.) The charge
is $65 USA dollars. So far so good - hope to have back early next week - I really need it.
have been trying to use the fingers in places where the TV was and the fingers aren't as good as the TV itself - must be the microcurrent!
