Oh joy, I love receiving unexpected packages in the mail. I filled out their online survey a couple weeks back, but because some of the others said they never received their "goody-bag," I basically forgot all about it until I came home and saw the package in my mailbox!
Here's what they sent me:
• Botanical Facial Gel
• Cucumber Cleansing Lotion
• Oil-Free Moisturizer w/ SPF 17
• Special Mask for Oily Skin
• Almond & Honey Non-Abrasive Face Scrub
Not a bad haul for two minutes of my time to fill out a survey!  Of course, I had to try everything. First I washed with the Botanical Facial Gel -- it left my skin feeling so soft and silky afterwards that I actually questioned whether or not my face got clean! I'm used the the squeaky and tight feeling after I wash my face. I realize this isn't necessarily a good thing, but that's what I'm used to! I was convinced that it had to have left some kind of film on my skin because there was no way it could feel that good if it was truly clean.
So right away I used the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion (it's a toner, really), expecting the cotton pad to be blackened with dirt that didn't get removed by the gel, but there was nothing. And again my face felt soft and silky afterward, almost like I didn't need to apply any moisturizer at all!
And finally, because I couldn't resist  , I used the Special Mask. When I rinsed it off, again I was amazed by how soft my skin felt. None of the customary tightness that I'm used to after a "regular" mask. I followed with my hyaluronic acid serum and my regular "nighttime" moisturizer, figuring I'd keep the MB one for during the day.
When I woke up this morning, my skin didn't have the usual oil slick. I washed again with the face gel, then applied the honey & almond scrub (rinsed it off in the shower), followed by the cucumber stuff then the oil-free moisturizer. Again, I was shocked by how clean/refreshed, but silky soft my face felt afterwards! It's too soon to tell about the oil-free moisturizer, I'll see how it holds up by this afternoon when my face has usually produced enough oil to heat a small, 3rd world country for a year! I'm kidding, but only just....
Anyway, I think I might just have to order full-sizes of some of these MB products, but first I want to pop over to MUA and see what everyone else has to say about them! If you haven't completed your survey, here's the link: http://www.mariobadescu.com/consult.asp

P.S. Hey, does anyone know of any other websites giving away free samples to try before you have to buy?? This could get addicting!  |

| I filled out the survey and received a bag of freebies in the mail this morning. Hopefully I like the products and will order some as a thanks for the gift. The customer service would have to be great I would think. |

Yes, I’m using the MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel and the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion (toner) twice daily. When I wash my face in the mornings, I mix a bit of Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant with the cleansing gel (in lieu of water) to make a paste, which allows me to cleanse and exfoliate in the same step! |

| I also wasn't so impressed with their products, i got everything the same as carakate, only that i didn't have the scurb, instead i got the eye cream which i think is the best. |
