Hi All,
I found 6% and 8% glycolic acid cream.
I am not using any AHA or BHA Toner.
DO you think I can use 6% glycolic acid cream after my cleansing in the night..
May be wait for 15 minutes or so, wash face again and then apply my actives or Anti wrinkle cream..
I am 43 years old.
Any suggestions/ advice on Glycolic acid cream?
Thanks a lot

One of the best formulations (definitely NOT Paula's choice)
is Glyderm
Because you are just getting the AHA BHA. The brand does NOT pretend to be anything else.
10% four times a week.
Retinol in between, 1% Skinceutical or Strivectin
They will have synergistic effect.
Never keep increasing the acid conc just because you want a deeper peel. Put Retinol and Acid together will give you a greater control and deeper effect. Why I say that is that you can put the retinol exactly where you need it, NOT all over the face.
Also, do not buy cheap acids. They must be 2.9ph and a lot of the supermarket brands may say "10-15-20%" but will not do anything unless the ph is right.
The only other ingredient I use with AHA / BHA would be Vit C (L-ascorbic) because it stays active in acidic environment. |
