http://www.dermalogica.com/new/new_usa.asp This is a new one from Dermalogica. Has anyone tried this yet?
I think I find any skincare product packed in little one-time-use doses almost irresistible |

As I'm already using MD Formulations Facial Cream, my skin is super-smooth on the surface, but I just posted to say that I Totally Agreee wrt. the lure of one-dose products. I bought the multivitamin power concentrate for that reason. It's very good, but quite expensive for what you get, and it stinks (somehow like butter, I think) |

I was really excited about this coming out since I am a huge Dermalogica fan. I purchased it over 2 months ago and used up every convenient to use dose (35). I started out using it every other night and then every night just to be safe. I can honestly say it never really did anything for me so I won't repurchase. I couldn't tell one difference either good or bad. No smoothing or brightening of the skin. It wasn't soothing to me upon application, but I did NOT get the usual drying effects that come with some AHA's nor a purging period. I don't remember it having any kind of fragrance.
Of course this doesn't mean it isn't a great product. My 40 something skin just needed something stronger and I seem to have tough skin to treat.
Hope this helps!

Sounds like a nice formula. Too bad it didn't do much for you, Cheri. Maybe the AHA percentage isn't high enough for your skin? I've been using the Age Limit serum from cellularskinrx.com since i got it in early December. Wow! I'm loving AHA's again. It's a 10% glycolic/lactic acid/arginine formula and doesn't irritate at all. By the way, Mabsy and others, if you put "survey" in the online form for Cellularskinrx.com right now, you can get a 20% discount on their products. I think you have to spend $25 or more to get it. |

I saw your posts about Age-Limit on MUA so I ordered it yesterday. Unfortunately I ordered it before I got the survey with 20%off. Oh well, my Eye Bright needs to be replenished and I want to try the new lip stuff so it's ok. There goes my New Year's resolution of not buying any new products. I lasted 6 days though before I fell!

Cheri -
I just ordered the Polishing Grains from CSRx, but I want to try that lip balm, too. If you get it, please let me know if it's any good!
thanks!

This sounds wonderful, just what I have been searching for, I've just spent £65.00 on a 30 day product from Elemis that promised the same results but it was sadly lacking and my purse is now much lighter. I hope someone tries it soon so that I can get the low down before I splurg aging. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Have a great weekend.

I've got the lipbalm and it's nice but it's not my favorite. I haven't seen any plumping results but I'm not sure if that is its sole purpose. |

Thanks for the info Betterat40. Got the email with the survey and I got the AHA lotion. Interestingly, when you do a search for the name of this product (which I can't remember off the top of my head) you will also find another company which sells the SAME thing (same packaging, label etc) but they sell it for around US$90. There's also another one that sells it for around US$65. They must be using the same manufacturer.
Happy - If EDS stocks it then it's guaranteed to be in my next order! |
