skin type: combo to oily, asian complexion and acne prone

DDF:

brightening cleanser: my favorite up to now. it does make my blackheads smaller but unfortunately the ones on my chin are still there. At the begining the corners of my nose were VERY dry since I use it daily but now, I dilute the cleanser before applying it to my face instead of putting it directly. then i leave it on for one minute max. blackheads on cheeks and nose are almost gone (never had blackheads problems on forehead) and this is used simultaneously with decleor aromessence ylang ylang.

ultra-lite oil free moisturising dew: contains beeswax but my skin does not seem to mind it. it moisturises perfectly during winter but leave my nose shiny. cause no break out nor blackheads

oil free spf 30 gel: WORSE sunscreen i ever used. main ingredient is alcohol and on first application, my skin burns. i might try it again in summer but this is definitely not for sensitive skin although oily.

10% toner: clean the skin but my skin itches during the first days of application. i did not notice too much dryness except for the first few days.

sulphur mask: was ok. it did remove oil but did not make remove blackheads. I still prefer my origins charcoal mask.

decleor:

decleor aromessence ylang ylang: my new love. i use it night and day and my skin looks great. less blackheads and less patches of dry skin.

Overall:

brighter, clearer skin although I still have a few patches of dry skin onthe chin and nose side but epidermx takes care of those and I use epidermx as a physical exfoliant Very Happy i'm definitely going to rebuy the cleanser and moisturiser and toner.

anyone using decleor ylang ylang, how long does it take to see results ? i wonder if i should buy the balm too to get rid of stubborn blackheads ?

Does EDS sell samples of the balm??

Thanks and Happy new year!

I would suggest that you go for the Essential Balm rather than Ylang Ylang Balm. Essential Balm is for congested skin and should help clear up the blackhead problem. My skin looks lovely after I use this overnight for a few days Cool

Ps. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water - that will help as well.
