Okay, so I have just converted to carrying PCA in my practice and have been experimenting with the peels. As some of you know, I have had my ups and downs with my skin but now have it under control and I am trying to now, treat my hyper-pigmentation. I first fell in love with Dermalogica line, but I have converted!
PCA is amazing, very simplistic yet effective. There was no transition to the new line at all. But I definitely can tell that my skin is more...spongy....like when I was in my teens when I had no acne.
I first I had the Sensi peel with the Ultra Peel II bump. I peeled like crazy but had very little/no discomfort and it worked WAY BETTER than my TCA peel that I gave myself earlier last year. Not only is it helping my hyperpigmentation, but also the overall texture of my skin. I am actually had to stop wearing makeup (mineral makeup included) because it made my skin look....WORSE! Yeah, i said that! Makeup/powder/anything like that made me look worse and not dewey and healthy!
It is suggested that in between my peels, I have had a diamond microdermabrasion treatment with the Oxy Trio treatment. The Oxy Trio is designed to promote circulation and stimulate collagen. Glowing results are immediate and long lasting. This is the "go to" facial before a Red Carpet walk for celebrities. Should be done 24 hrs in advance to event. Can be added to a microdermabrasion to increase and expedite desired results.
I am in love with how my skin is going! I have no tan and I actually don't have to put cover up on. I can't stand me looking so white but, I have to do what I have to do to get my skin the way I want it. The decision came down to, fabulous tanned skin or my hyperpigmented spots...well, needless to say, the condition of my skin won and I am so glad I made that decision.
I guess, in all, I am very surprised with how much my skin has changed since converting over to PCA's daily regimen and my 1 peel. This is what I have wanted! |
