Hi
I am wondering if we can save money buy buying our ingredients (Ascorbic acid, Niacinamide, Glucosamine, MAP, etc) from the companies rather than the suppliers. I noticed that our traditional suppliers (personal formulator, GOW, Skinactives, bulkactives, etc) sell them more expensive to reap the spread profit. For instance, NOW sells ascorbic acid crystals, oils which i have bought before...Anyway, i am wondering if the MAP powder (Now Foods) is the one we supposed to use.

No question daler, also note the MAP may well not be "pure"

Also, the Now Food product is MA and not MAP , there is no phosphate in it; I dont know whether it's magnesium or phospahte in MAP which makes it more stable than plain ascorbic acid.

I think it's best to pass and just buy the real deal from one of the reputable DIY suppliers. |
