Hi all!
I plan on ordering the Special Cleansing Gel after trying a sample included in an EDS package.
What other stuff from Dermalogica do you guys like? (I have oily, acne prone skin)
I plan on asking for dermalogica samples with my order...I passed over this line at first, but I really like the cleanser, so I'd like to try more stuff.
Thanks! |

My facialist (using only Dermalogica products)swears I shouldn't use it, but I love Dermalogica Dermal Clay cleanser. Very minty and fresh. Neutrogena has a similar product called Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask that you might want to try.
I also love Dermalogica Active Moist for daytime and Skin Smoothing Cream for night. Neither has ever given me problems. I also use the Multi-Vitamin Power Recovery mask several times per week.
I have normal/oily skin and sometimes break out if I use the wrong products.

If youve got acne prone skin then id go for the antibac skin wash. This contains the antibacterial triclosan which you need. Special cleansing gel is great for regulating short-term oil production but you need the triclosan to combat the acne.
This is what my Dermalogica Facialist told me. She said I should actually buy both because it would dry my normal areas ( I have combination skin) - but I thats quite pricy for me and being the skincare junkie that I am, even though I always end up going back to the anti-bac, Ive used 100's in between.
HTH (and doesnt confuse!)

I am combo/oily and use Special Gel Cleanser too.. just love the slippery feel/texture and it is gentle enough on me.
I too like Dermal Clay Cleanser but only in the morning ( and not if I am going to be doing a Skin Prep scrub or Gentle Cream Exfoliant immediately after, only because it is very cooling- mentholy and feels a bit too much all at once for me!). It is super refreshing but I prefer SGC for makeup removal, mainly because I am scared I might get the minty freshness in my eyes!
Love the Multi Active toner -to spray on after whatever cleanser, soothing and smells lovely.
Ok.. Active Moist in the day... Skin Smoothing cream at night ... perfect combination!
I like Total Eye Care in the day... has SPF15 and a slight shimmer in it...and Intensive Eye Repair at night ( richer).
Love Daily Microfoliant....but my very fav is Gentle Cream Exfoliant.. that is actually my personal pick of all products, any range! ( a big ask)
Other ones I couldnt live without include...
Day Bright.... that is just gorgeous. If you get a sample of that, you will enjoy it I think. It doesn't make me break out, is SPF 15 and contains Vit C and various "brightening" things. I use NightBright too ....but Day Bright really appeals to me. ( unless you dont like orange smells!)
Also like... Skin Refining masque ( but it just a simple clay mask, not a star product)
There are no products that I have tried so far in this range that I have disliked... Oh dear... I just realised I will end up writing a saga if I carry on in such detail about each one of their products I use, I have probably 15 differnt ones at the moment!
Anyway.. suffice to say, it is a range worth trying out in my personal experience. |

Dermalogica is one of my favourite brands. I have dry skin, and like:
*Ultracalming Cleanser
*Intensive Moisture Balance
*Skin Smoothing Cream
*Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque
*Multivitamin Power Concentrate
*Daily Microfoliant
*Gentle Cream Exfoliant (but too strong for me when I'm using another glycolic acid product) |
