Hi all!
I was looking through earlier posts regarding diy vitamin c serum and came across a post from August 2009 from Keilu (so sorry if I misspelled your name), stating that one has to use a topical vitamin c powder, not a food based one. I have been using a 100% l-ascorbic powder (it states on the ingredients), that is pharmaceutical grade. It is one that you ingest, so does that mean I am using the wrong kind? I have been doing vitamin c serum on and off for about a year and loving it(thanks to all of you)! |

Hi cjenn1,
I have also used pure Vitamin C powder/crystals I ordered through my pharmacist and they work just fine. As long as it's pure, no fillers added you are good to go.
IMHO
