I rolled two spots on my rear end that were lumpy and now I have two very dark brown spots that I cannot remove... I've done two high percentage lactic acid peels and it peeled a relatively thick layer of skin off, but when the pink skin healed it was dark brown again... I have very fair skin so it looks horrible! Is there anything I can do???? |

Honestly, I'd suggest a dermatologist visit. If they are lumpy, they could be precancerous/cancerous. (I had skin cancer a couple of years ago, and thank goodness my derm caught it early! I had it surgically excised, and it has not returned.) Play safe on this one, please. |

Oh, no... I meant lumpy as in cellulite lumpy... and by "brown spots" I meant areas of pigmentation... I should have made myself clearer. Sorry. |

hyperpigmentation goes away with time as the layers of skin shed.. you can also use glycolic acid lotion ( not peel), Aquaglycolic on it, pls dont use peels, in my experience peels cause more irritation resulting in further hyperpigmentation. |

I wanted to add that peels do work for old hyperpigmentations but not so for new/fresh ones.
