Hi, I really need some advice from you guys. I'm 24 years old and have greasy skin, prone to breakouts and I always have blackheads over my nose and chin. Around the side of my chin I also have little pimples with whiteheads that look as if they're under the skin but will squeeze when I try (I know I shouldn't). At the moment my skin is awful, I have lots of spots and they are actually quite sore. I seem to get new ones each day. I've been to my doctor and had various medications but none seem to work in the longrun. I've tried various brands but am now particularly interested in MD Formultions and wondered if anyone with the same kind of skin as me could reccommend any products and let me know what results they've had? Thanks, Rachael. |

Yes! There are some really good MDF products! Or at least I have had good results with them http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=1374
I can highly recommend the cleanser (I don't like it for how bland it is but it DOES work), the Clearing Complex spot treatment, and also the Clearing Complex Masque.
ETA: The best way to sample their products might be by buying a trial kit for your skin type (and asking for a sample of the masque if possible ). |

Hi Rachael,
I had skin exactly like yours around my chin, lots of whiteheads and flesh colored bumps. Gah my chin always stood out on my face. I also tried squeezing them but they flared up, go down and still be there.
I use Vit A plus night recovery in my regime and have seen good results. I can post the rest of my regime if you like.

If you could that would be great. I have actually just ordered the Sircuit Skin trial kit, but have read mixed reviews about it since. However, I can only live in hope! Will no doubt try mdf at some point in the future! Thanks. |

The basic formula that I use is
Dry
Loosen
Dissolve
Remove
I use a mask that takes out all the water and oil.
Dry : Chlorella, green tea, ylang ylang oil, in a mask
Loosen : 8% Glycolic acid
Dissolve : 2% Salicylic acid
Remove : 1% Retinol
The next morning I then apply a prescription strength antibiotic to my chin.
A lot will come out by themselves, in the beginning I use the extraction method for those hard ones.
I must say though I have some tough skin, I hope this helps
Tracey
Edit : just a warning. If it does work for you like it did for me, the first week I used this method I purged like crazy but after that the pores stayed clean. |
