if retinol is good for wrinkles etc as i been reading here would it also help with stretchmarks?
Iv got these ugly stretchmarks basically on my butt n lower back area and also recently started getting some on the side part of the knee.
I dont understand why the stretchmarks on the side of knee when i moisturize my legs every single day and have not gained weight!
the lower back/butt stretchmarks are old like more than 12-14 years, basically i got em wen hit puberty.
i tried skin biology's super cop alternating with DDF 10% glycolic body lotion, it dint improve the marks but i guess the skin is smoother but the marks are still there.
What can i do to get rid of em? Would a peel with retinol help perhaps?
Or would retinol with my glycolic body lotion?
Anyone had any success with stretch marks?

Yes, I do believe I have read somewhere that Retin A can help with stetchmarks. Have you considered combining Retin A with copper peptides. I thinking Retin A would give enough exfoliation not to worrent a peel of any sort. You may just need to rub over the area with a towel if you get any flaking.
If you are game have you also considered derma rolling over stretchmarks. I think some people here have had improvement with this technique. Also if you google derma rolling you will find it is recommended for stretchmarks. For a tougher approach considier all three - serma rolling, copper peptides and Retin A. Let us know what you decide and how you go. |
