I am 42, fair skinned with some slight past sun damage (i.e. brown discolorations) and broken capallaires in the t-zone.
I currently use Prescriptives but it's not working for me. I have used Clarins in the past with good results. I don't know why one would work and not the other if I had normal skin. Anyhow, I would like to try Decleor. Any product suggestions to help balance skintone would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi there
The decleor harmonie range is very good, also the hydra floral range for balancing...I used the hydra floral with the neroli oil for a year before I went onto other decleor products...Its a great first product to try... |

Hello,
I have been using Decleor skin cream products for 7 years now and have always had great results. Over the years, I have tried a number of different brands but always come back to Decleor. (I do not, however, like their eye creams or gels.)
What I like best about Decleor is that their creams quickly penetrate into the skin and leave the skin feeling very soft. Their creams also have a slight scent that leaves gives my skin a fresh and clean feeling.
I am 46 years old with combination skin. It has been tricky find the right choice of day and night creams because my mature skin also tends to break out now and then. But, with the experienced help of EDS' aestheticians (thank you!), I have now found something that works.
In winter, my day cream is Decleor's Lift Total Re-sculpting cream (not the NEW one as that is for dry skin). This cream keeps my skin well moisturized and (ever so slightly) firm. My night cream is the Aromessence Baume Essentiel. This helps to curb any breakouts before they occur. The baume is a 30ml pot of a waxy like substance but it just melts into the skin. Just remember, a little goes a long way.
In winter I also usually go with an aromessence (in the bottle) as it does help maintain the moisture level of the skin. This is especially good for those of us who work or live in buildings where thermostats are kept very high.
From spring to fall, I tend to stay with Decleor's Hydra Floral for the day and the Soin du Soir or Harmonie Essentielle for the night. On really humid summer days, I might use the Hydra Foral emulsion which is more like a milk and feels much lighter on the skin (than the cream).
I hope I have helped you in some way. I know that I am older than what you posted, but I have found that using Decleor over other skin care lines has really improve the condition of my skin (aestheticians I meet never believe me when I tell them my age). As I have already said, what I like most is how is Decleor creams are easily penetrated and maintain the moisture level of my skin throughout the day.
It would be worth asking EDS for some samples.
Good luck |

I know that you're after Decleor suggestions specifically, but having read your post I could not help but think (because you mentioned sun damage etc) that your skin would also benefit from a vitamin C serum (which you can use while using your other Decleor stuff). This is supposed to reduce further sun damage and to a certain degree repair previous sun damage. Most people also report improved clarity and radiance of the skin after a few weeks of starting a vit C serum.
Sorry for butting in |
