I am looking for enzyme products. It can be a face mask or a peel or a serum. I love the way the face/skin feels after enzyme peel. I used to use CMI therapy but it's impossible to find them now. Any recommendations?
TIA! |

I really like Alba Hawaiian Papaya Enzyme Facial Mask. It works pretty well and at around $12, the price is right. Zia Natural Skincare also makes a papaya mask, but it's double the price and I didn't think it worked any better than the Alba product.
My facialist just told me about MyChelle's Pumpkin Peel, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. |

I saw a lot of recommendations of PSF pumpkin mask, it's between that product and Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel. I've tried the apple peel but not the pumpkin mask. I like the apple peel, it's pretty strong and really good for acne. |

I was introduced to the Actifirm Z-peel 15% and for the half dozen treatments I've used it is one of the most effective exfoliating products I have ever used - refines skin texture and clears the pores. It is made of a mushroom enzyme and it is even suitable during retinoid treatment. I use Differin so I can't risk using acids or manual exfoliants as it causes irritation.
The 15% peel is a bit expensive, at $80+ for a 30ml tube, but it will last a very long time. |

Oh, I looked at the Actifirm products when they were first put up on EDS. No one has been doing any reviews on them though but the Z-peel sounds interesting.
I've been using Sophoto Refining Active Mask every couple of days to exfoliate with. It's a physical exfoliant and I find it gentle enough to use as often as I need but I find it really effective. |

I just reintroduced Glymed products in my routine. One of my favorite Glymed products is their Enzyme Mask. It's habit forming.

I used to use Differin also and had such terrible reaction and sensitivity to sunlight and even the most lightest touch to my face!
I'm off it now and I feel better.
Recently, I got Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel and it is strong but really nice.
My number one choice is Cellcosmet exfoliants. I apply it on dry skin and allow it to soak for good three minutes, then wet my hands and rub it in my skin a bit more, then rinse.
Even my bf loved how my skin felt! |

I agree with Skincare, my number 1 is Cellcosmet exfoliant. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, leaves great feeling after use and smells nice. |

hello Annie,
are you still using the Alba papaya enzyme mask?if yes, then does it clear up blackhead and large pores?I just recently came across this mask and on many sites its rated in top 5 enzyme masks. Also, i've heard alot about amore pacific's pumpkin enzyme peel...did you try that one???rite now its too expensive for my budget. |
