Hi, I have decided that the next logical step in my DIY journey is to purchase a scale for better accuracy. I did see a recommendation for one on the Skin Essential Actives, but here's the catch: it can't be this small. My boyfriend brews beer and would like a scale for measuring hops, and we'd like to use the same one. So wondering what requirements I should look for and if anyone has any luck with a postal sized scale or something larger than the palm sized one. TYIA!! |

The trouble with the larger scales is that they wont measure part grams which is what you need. It really will be a cheaper and better option to just buy two scales, one for you and one for him. The larger scales that also measure part grams tend to be very expensive. Since you can buy a small scale for you off ebay for around $10, I cant see any advantage in trying to find an all in one. |

My idea seemed so much more logical in my head, but this completely makes sense. Thank you for the direction I needed!!! |

I'm thinking of visiting a local head shop and seeing what they may have in the way of inexpensive scales. |
