I am new to this site and excited about all the info. I have read.
I was very excited about trying jane iredale make-up and the jan marini line of cleansers. After 6 days, I have started to have so skin issues. I have mild roscea and seem to be having a flare up. Redness, breakouts...
Prior to to trying these lines, I was using dove soap, clinique moisture surge extra gel and prescriptives liquid foundation.
I now use c-esta facial cleanser, the papaya mask, bioclear cream, the dailey face protectantand the jane iredale loose powder.
I love the way my skin feels after using the produsts, but I am having a flare up. The professional I saw is out of town for a week.
I am unsure of which product to stop using.
Any recommendations? |

I would stop everything and go back to your old routine. After your skin returns to it's normal state, add in one new product at a time. Give it at least a week or two before adding a new product. This way you will be able to figure out which product causes a reaction.
Never try multiple new products all at once. Definitely a shock to any skin (sensitive or not). |

my skin gets MAD when i try more than 1 thing at a time. Also, if you try them one at a time, if something does react good or bad you know what it is =) |

I would definitely try things one at a time if you have issues with reactions. Looking at the list of products though I would probably say that the mask and bioclear might be the more likely ones to cause problems. Of course, this is just my opinion and it depends on your skin type. With my skin I would cut back on bioclear first and see what happens or stop all together and re-introduce products one at a time.

YIKES - Rosacea isn't fun - one of my colleagues suffers from it....sometimes it take on an acne-like appearance.....I'd park everything you are using right now and go back your old regime.....If you are interested in incorporating treatment products designed specifically for rosacea I'd recommend checking out B. Kamins.....they have some incredible treatment products; and stuff geared specifically for those with your condition.
Good Luck! |
