I've been using JB's Prep and ADCE and have decided to add C + Firming Serum to my regime. Goldportbeauty.com where I will be getting all of the products (the prices are great) is including with my order,a sample of camellia oil which, with my dry skin, is welcome. This is the order they suggested:
Every morning:
1. C+ Firming serum
2. Camellia oil
3. Skin Prep
4. AlphaDerma CE/OkuSil
Ian at JB has always said the Prep comes before anything. I don't know whose advice to follow. I was thinking of putting the C+ after the Prep and before the ADCE. I'd like to try the camellia oil since my skin can get so dry. What do you think? Winnie? betterat40? anyone? I'm so confused. ![](images/smiles/104.gif) |

Nanapost,
This is how I would apply the products you are talking about.
Camellia oil (Let it absorb)
Prep
Vit. C (let it absorb before ADCE)
AlphaDerma
I have used the Camellia Oil. Why I say Camellia Oil first is because it helps carry other products deeper into the skin. Kind of like Emu but much nicer and not as heavy. Sometimes I wash my face in the morning and put on the oil. I go about my business for 1/2 to 1 hour then take my shower. I follow by the last three steps. That is if I have time . If you put the Prep on first thats OK too. I think you have to fool around with it to see what is best for you. The C + Serum is my favorite for my mature skin. It has a very slight oil feel. However, it does absorb in quickly.
Word of caution: When I first tried C Serum my eye puffed up. I probably should not have put in around my eyes. Now I am used to it and don't have the problem anymore. I started using the C because of all the chat on the forum. The one thing I have noticed by adding the C is my skin color looks lighter (the yellowish tone is gone).

Thanks Winnie, since I work out of my home, I usually have plenty of time to let products work before putting on the next step. I'm also using Esther's Secret Masque but on those days, I would do the masque first then maybe the oil, shower and then the rest. It becomes more and more time consuming but I find it so relaxing and its fun to feel like I'm pampering myself. Then when the craziness of my life strikes, I think I handle it better. |
