...the mask used in "My Best Friend's Wedding"? The one Julia Roberts used in it?
I know its a strange request but I've been wanting to try a dark/bright purple facial mask (I have used just practically every other colour out these and would like to add a purple one to it for fun). If no one knows what the mask is does anyone know of any other dark/bright purple facial masques out there? I just cannot seem to find one anywhere regardless of price point or location in the world. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Hello Innes!
Astara makes various masks in different colors:
Astara Violet Flame Enzyme Mask (purple)
Astara Blue Flame Purification (blue)
Astara Golden Flame Hydration mask (clear gold)
Astara Green Papaya Nutrient Mask (green)
Astara Activated Sea Mineral Mask (gray)
I have tried the Blue Flame mask only and it does wonders. I have the Golden Flame mask but haven't used it yet. |

The Violet Flame one sounds good!
Btw, I sometimes wonder if products like that used in movies are not enhanced to get the desired visual effect? I mean, it could be just a normal mud mask with some coloring thrown in for impact? Just a thought.... |

Thanks to the both of you for your help! I was kind of guessing that the mask had been coloured because I have not found any information on the product anywhere. I would use the Astara but I've heard that those masks don't keep long and mold? One person told me before that it was the Borghese Fango Mud...but I use the Fango and I know that that is not it. But then again if it was coloured purple...oh well.
Thanks again! |

i've used all of the astara masks before...
i've never had a problem w. mold w. any of these masks.
just a word of caution (for any product out there), don't be tempted to use a mask just for it's colour, use it because it will suit your skin type |
