hi i was wondering if anyone of you have used BB cream ... here is a bit about it,i do know itBB creams come in a variety of different formulations. Some are said to have skin whitening or brightening properties, others are anti-acne, some are anti-wrinkle, some are intended to even out skin tone, and yet others to lighten blemish scars. BB creams are sometimes used like a primer under foundation, and if tinted may even replace foundation and some newer ones will have functions of primer, foundation, moisturizer, sun block, pore minimization and skin refining together which can save time and money in make-ups not available in the uk untill Aug 2011.. |

I am really liking BB creams as I find they do improve my skin and look better than liquid foundation. I can no longer use mineral as it emphasizes my dry skin. You can go to Skin79 Facebook page and "LIKE" them and they will send you a sample for oily and for dry skin. Plus they are cheaper than department store foundation.
I wrote them off as I tried the VIP Gold and it had no coverage and the scent was too fake floral but then I found their chart on their site for best ones for your skin condition and tried the Oriental Gold one a friend had gave a sample of. I loved that one! I put too much powder so it dried my face but if I hadn't it was perfect. The scent is different too than the VIP Gold so I didnt mind as I am particular about scents and had more coverage. My skin looked great with it on. I ordered a full size yesterday. |

To sakura:
I understand your concern. I try not to use foundation; however I didn't find BB cream has a better function. Therefore I will mix NARS aqua hydrating gel with foundation (1:1), that's a better one than BB cream.
I found mineral foundation is pretty dry too But it has an excellent SPF; therefore I will do a better base in order to prevent dehydration |

I like using BB creams from time to time when I feel like I need a bit more coverage. I've used BRTC and Dr. Jart (Black) and prefer Dr. J.
I also have used Jane Iredale mmu to "set" the foundation and that works pretty well, too.
I don't know that I've seen any real "repair" or "whitening" but it does smooth things out quite nicely for me.
Another plus: The BB creams I've bought on ebay are reasonably priced. |

I use mine almost everyday. It's IOPE and it's a very good alternative for foundation because it saves me loads of time in the mornings! I just put on moisturiser and then put on BB cream and i'm good to go!
It actually has benefits for your skin too! That's the reason it was made in the first place. For help those who've had laser surgery done to protect, recover, and soothe skin~ That was the main purpose when it was originally made in Germany ^^
So I definitely recommend using BB creams if you're thinking of buying them!!~ |
