Hi,
I have fair/light beige skin and acne-prone. Can you suggest tinted moisturizer with natural finish?. I have read good thing about Laura Mercier´s but I cannot test the colours in my country. I have several options Shiseido´s, Dior´s, Benefit´s) but I don´t know wich choose.
Thanks. |

Caudalie has a tint face cream, you could try it. EDS once gave me a set, with two colors of tinted face cream~~ Why not just buy something from EDS and ask this sample from them? You may like it:) |

I have just got one by a company called karmaceuticles. It's a repackage job, but I actually like it. has spf 20 and fairly good cover.
I got it here:

I bought the latest Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser - the luminous one. I do like it, from memory the colour choice is limited to like six. I bought the nude one and i'm NW20 in Mac. However that being said, i still prefer foundation for coverage and for longer wearability. i recently saw Smashbox have a tinted moisturiser and it seemed to have a nice texture but i couldn't get a sample of it. Again colour choices were quite limited to like fair, light, medium etc. |

I found Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer to have a bit too much shimmer. My face looked greasy. |

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer has a lot of types, and shimmer just exists in only one type. |

For Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, shimmer has nothing to do with the oil. She just chosen the wrong type, I remember that only one type of its moisturizer contains shimmer ingrediant. |

The one I bought from Laura Mercier had the shimmer in it too. I guess I bought the wrong one.
I'm a little darker and I really like the Philosophy Poreless Flawless. |

I just got one yesterday from my derm's office that I ended up buying after they put it on. I had a microdermabrasion and 5 step facial and they used this at the end. It was like wearing mineral makeup but it felt wonderful!
Revision Intellishade matches all skin types and I watched how it worked on several different skin colors in their office. Amazing!
It has peptides and SPF 45 so it is also good for your skin.

Hi Annie,
You didn't by any chance see a medium toned person use this? This one sounds interesting. Does it cover at all. I mean, does it cover as much as a regular tinted moisturizer? Thanks |

If you have or can find a MMU that matches your skintone well you can just mix a very small amount with your moisturizer to make your own tinted moisturizer, that way you know it won't break your skin out and you can customize coverage. I find this a really simple way to apply my MMU when I don't want much makeup on, or when I am in a rush.

It covers well and gives a glow, but not as much as mineral makeup. It is also good for your skin while you use it!
My son's fiancee uses it and she has olive toned tan skin, blends well. |

I agree Annie I adore my MMU. My time is very limited due to care taking so at least I get some "coverage" but for all out make up I apply with a brush.
The reason I posted about mixing it was because she wants a tinted moisturizer, I find this works very well in that respect. My daughters who still have that wonderful young skin use this as they have no need for much coverage.

"Revision wants to protect its core technology and for this reason, IntelliShade is prohibited from being sold online."
Protect? Or make it really really inconvenient for customers? Guess they think this differentiates them, but it's a dumb idea. |

I do this mix MMU with my moisturizer or I even mix liquid foundation to make a tinted moisturizer. |

I use a tinted sunscreen to mix with a regular sunscreen that has a slight white cast to create a natural shade for my skin. You can adjust how dark you want to mixture to be. |

I am glad to know EDS sells Revision, I love this stuff. On days I wear no makeup but want sunscreen this has become my new best bud. I am so much better about wearing my sunscreen now as i have been a bad girl sometimes.
I still like to mix my makeups with tints, bronzers, sunscreens, moisturizers sometimes too. I t can make it whatever thickness and coverage you want. |

I'm really tempted to order this one as a quasi-foundation. I just wish they hadn't put in any chemical sunscreens, I had sworn off those. |

I know, but the sunscreen works very well and as a moisturizer so I am not having to use 2 products there. Plus the peptides and minerals have helped my skin.
My derm and her office staff/nurses wear it and they love it.
I am hooked but I started with a sample to try before I bought the big one, so it was an easy transition. |
