Hi Guys, I have what seems like a tiny cluster of tiny hard pinpoints right in the middle of my cheek. It's white. I thought at first it was just old sebum working its way out. I confess, I whipped out my faithful Venus and shaved the sucker flat. But it's still there and sticking out a bit once again.

I use a Clarisonic, but not every night. I have tried various organic essential oils like lavender and tea tree. But it doesn't want to budge. It's been there a few months. I think it's where there was a pimple in April that I killed off with hydrogen peroxide. Confused

Yeah, if it's still there when I see my derm I'll show her. But that won't be for several months. I only go once a year. (Ironically, that pimple arose about a week after I saw her and had a vbeam session.)

Could it be some kind of impurity working its way out (long pimple roots?)?

Thoughts or even awful jokes about it are welcome

Laughing

Thanks!

Pluto,
Could it possibly be milia? I've had a few of these myself around my temples. At first, I thought they were whiteheads, but nothing worked to get rid of them -- retin a, clarisonic, etc.

So, I went for a microdermabrasion and the esthetician extracted them for me. I've got a few teeny ones right by my eyebrow that I'll have her work on next!

At this point, I'm still not a 100% percent sure of what they are or why they develop!

thanks, kims. Weird place for milia, isn't it? Then again, the facial skin is more mysterious the more you know about it.

I wonder -- can I just leave them alone until the Spring? Or does milia get worse (or is it pretty stable?)

I've developed mine just in the past few years. Not sure about the rhyme or reason?? I just figured it might just be the aging thing -- or genetics?

I'm sure leaving them alone for awhile would be fine. Mine really weren't visible (except to me, of course) but when I pinched them between my fingers, I could feel a somewhat hard, round ball.

For me, the microdermabrasion plus extraction worked! Smile
