I mix it with clay when I make my own clay mask. I will also use it alone as a mask. |

I think you can use it in place of regular honey in any of the honey DIY recipes |

Someone can probably give better information or add on to this about clay, but in general it helps to dry up acne, control oil (if you have oily skin) and has a tightening effect. If you have very dry skin then a clay mask would not be the ideal option for you. However, honey is moisturizing so if you are mixing clay with honey then it probably helps to add a bit of moisturization so that the clay isn't too drying. I would also think that honey would prevent the clay from drying completely and make it feel like a bit more a "wet" mask. |

Honey has long been utilized for its healing powers. Honey contains certain enzymes that have antioxidant and bacteria fighting powers.
The manuka honey products have been found to give you a younger, healthier looking skin. This is without using toxic products or undergoing painful surgery or injections.I also agree with dionnac's post. |

There are different kinds of clay, I will add honey to what ever mask I'm mixing up. I dont really measure for follow a particular recipe. I get my clays from garden of wisdom. |

I used to apply the honey direct to my skin, but the major benefits I found always occured when I applied it to damp skin. Its been used since bibilical times, and its well known for its antibacterial properites, but when applied to dry skin its very sticky, and seems to sit on the skin surface, but when the skin is wet it seems to actually absorb and does something magical to the skin (and isn't as sticky or gluesome). |

I don't know if any of you are aware that Australian Jarrah Honey is also a healing honey. I use jarrah honey in place of manuka. |

I use it the same way I'd use Manuka. Burns, wounds, in my face masks etc. |

You can make either a toner or facial spritz. Put one table spoon of Manuka honey into a bowl, put store bought mineral water, think Evian (funny because they sell an aresole can with the water inside it) into the kettle, once it comes to the boil add enough water to the honey ( enoughto fill a 30ml spray bottle) stir until the honey dissolves and viola! The solution will preserve itself. |
