Hi!
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with Isolaz for their acne? Right now I'm in search for the "cure" for my acne and after watching this youtuber raving about Isolaz, I am seriously considering trying it out.
I tend to have clogged and blocked pores easily and the whole suction part of the Isolaz really appeal to me.
Some of my questions are: If you have used Isolaz before, how much did it cost you? How long did it take for you to see results?
Thanks! |

I had Isolaz and I would not recommend it. It made my acne much worse than it was already and I ended up having to fight them for a refund (we eventually settled on a different course of treatment, but even that wasn't ideal). It also cost me a fortune, I got a deal with it but it was still well over £1000. Definitely worst money I've ever spent. I had a different type of laser a couple of years ago (can't remember what it was called but it's the one that Dr Tony Chu uses so Googling should give you an idea - he's an acne specialist so if you ask on acne.org someone is bound to know) and that was considerably cheaper (£120 a go) and much more effective. However, the effects lasted about 4-6 months, then you have to get it done again. HTH |

Which type of Retin-A did he use and how often/long did he use it for? |

Thanks for the reply! Since posting, I am reconsidering this treatment even though getting rid of adult acne has been extremely difficult . I love running/jogging and not being able to get any sunlight while getting Isolaz done is proving to be very difficult. I am most likely going to try Obagi as soon as I finish all my existing products. I googled dr. Tony Chu, unfortunately, I can't find anyone here in the Toronto area that administers his treatments. |

Wow, I have never heard of Isolaz - don't think it's available here in Australia. I can say however, I think the topical antibiotic treatments are the most effective for acne next to the Differin gel and Tazorac cream - especially the latter. I think that without the antibiotics the pimple creams can be a bit useless and I don't know why as I am religious about cleansing, etc, but the best thing for me is Clindatech (topical Clindamycin in alcohol). |

Getting sun is also an issue while using Obagi system (HQ/retin-a). As long as you use a proper SPF you should be fine but you do want to be careful in the sun. |

Thanks for the tip! I just hope that the Obagi (HQ/retin-a) will help me with controlling my acne breakouts and also the scars from previous breakouts. |
