I tried searching for this topic but didn't find anything super specific.
I'm too young to have these, I don't smoke or drink, but I have developed two folds down the sides of my mouth, they're not deep but they came on rather suddenly a few months ago. I don't want to try facial exercises OR get fillers. I'm looking for help/advice on how to get rid of marionette lines (the lines from mouth to chin) WITHOUT those measures. Looking to reverse them through skin care alone, and am open to anything: chemical peels (like the Obagi Blue Peel), resurfacing, CO2, effective topicals.
Another factor could be the arrangement of my teeth - I was given new crowns some months ago and they are ill-shaped and bulky, causing a massive overbite which wasn't there before. They seemed to have caused my lower face to re-drape differently, but I'm going to be getting this corrected soon.
All advice super appreciated! Thank you so much. |

I would like to have some answers too! I'm 23 and im starting to notice nasolabial folds, I wanna get rid of them in the most natural way possible.
I use Rosehip oil at night and during the day a normal moisturizer + sunscreen
But I heard about niacinamide and how it thickens your skin, maybe it could plump up that area and thickens it so that it doesn't crease as much |

I realise that you are against facial exercises, have you considered facial massage? At your age, I don't think facial muscles or skin quality are concerns, folds/wrinkles are likely to appear as a consequence of muscles frozen in some position, perhaps due to these new crowns?
I can recommend Face Firmer massage from CFF (https://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/sample-exercises/face-firmer-massage-technique/ - don't know where the video disappeared), massage with Yamuna balls or Tanaka massage (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4ANcs7oh9s).
Good luck |
