Helichrysum Oil has an amazing ability to heal and diminish scarring. I agree with your point that Helichrysum is useful scar remover, but it’s better for new wounds rather than for old ones. Thanks for such a nice and useful information. But I would like to add from my knowledge about some more benefits of using Helichrysum oil. It will not be at all wrong if I say that Helichrysum italicum is that oil which is magical because of it’s amazingly fast positive results for healing. This essential oil helps healing stretch marks, skin blemishes, and scars due to wounds, boils, and rashes. From my personal experiences, I will be pleased to share the fact that a few drops of helichrysum oil and rose hip oil can banish acne and heal wounds with minimal scarring. |

Effective or not, I really can't stand the smell of Helichrysum Oil... shudder. |

I use avocado, apricot kernal, and hemp oil (all purchased from GoW) but am always on the look out for new oils to add. Where can Helichrysum oil be ordered from? |

GoW stocks Helichrysum oil too. It is an essential oil, not carrier oil. |

Oh thank you Circus, I can admit to never looking into the essential oils section, wouldn't have even crossed my mind. Thanks once again |

If you want, you may want to research on a certain Europe based ointment that can clear scars and even stretchmarks in just as little as two weeks. I just cannot remember the exact brand. |

That's a good idea if it's effective for new scars. I got some on my jawline. For my old scars, I tried vitamin E oil. It worked however, it took some time before it completely faded the scars. Right now, I am using Copper Peel. Faster compared to the vitamin E oil. |

I know this may sound weird, but I wish I knew sooner that there are essential oils that can help lighten scars. As a kid I play a lot, and I've acquired deep cuts and wounds while playing, which left me with unsightly scars on my legs. Of course as an adult having such scars is pretty embarrassing and because I can't afford to undergo scar removal processes, I just let them be. It wasn't until my sister introduced me to an all-natural cream that I was able to make might scars less visible. Whiterderm is the name and I am still using it. I'm thinking that if the essential oils mentioned in this thread are truly effective, I might try using them in conjunction with the cream I am using so that I can get rid of my scars for good. Thanks for the tips. |

I had great luck with CPs and dermarolling. Fixed my boxcar scars, one was fresh from a giant cystic pimple two years ago, the other 20 years old from chicken pox. I have a third that I had marginal success with, but its on my cheek so its harder to roll over (others were on my forehead). Same approach did nothing for the keloid cat scratch on my chin, even with the strongest CP. |
