Warm Silk.
Time I tried a new foundation and what better than combining it with something that will treat your skin.
First couple of pumps and I get clear gel after that I get a tea coloured gel that I slather on.
Good points, its very easy to apply it just sinks in to my skin - I put mine on in the car and didn't get streaks and my skin feels soft. I think I could wear it without a moisturiser if I needed.
The down side is I'm not sure it is a foundation! The coverage is very light, lighter than the Dermalogica sheer tint. I think you could build up coverage though so I may try that next time.
A part of me is disappointed because I thought it would be heavier than it is. If you find tinted moisturisers too thick - this could be for you.
This will sit with my Sheer tint for when my skin is looking good and doesn't need too much help. |

Eve, you put it on in the car?????? Where you a dirty stop out last night........... or just very late rising this morning, and utilised traffic jams for making up. |

Eve,
Are you still on your first few pumps or have you used this for a while? The first few pumps (up to ten even I think) are either clear or not very pigmented at all. But once it gets going you should get a blob of it that is fairly thick and pigmented. I agree the coverage is light but is buildable.
Please tell me you don't apply this *while* you drive!? |

no no, I get a lift in to work and use the little mirror on the visor.

Please do report back. I am anxious to hear if the consistancy changes, as I have been wanting to try this. |

I use this foundation, and I do find the coverage to be very light the first few pumps, but once you are past that, it has decent coverage. |

I use the Jane Iredale loose powder and I am very interested to hear how this works out. It is a lot more expensive and I have wanted to try it. Let us know. |

OK-UPDATE. I've been using this for several days now and as Mabsy said it does get a better colour after several pumps - the colour is now thicker but still light and natural, very easy to blend so much so that I've applied another pump over the present one when I've had to go out straight from work.
I'd buy it again but I don't think it would be enough coverage for some people who want a more made up look. Saying that I did give a very light swirl of the loose powder over the top and that made it look like I'd used a full coverage foundation, so that's an option-maybe they bind well? |

Eve - I think you're onto something with the two products working well together. I do recall someone here saying that the Liquid Minerals make an excellent base for the powder one. |
