Hello,

I am trying to make a decision on a firming mask but some are telling me that the ascension mask won't help me as my problems are not that severe, but I am really wanting to lift and thin my whole face a little.

Here is my problem i want to correct: I am 29 years old. I have hardly any wrinkles and no sagging skin, and my face is quite thin, except in certain areas I feel I am a little "puffy". I don't want to say fat because i am not fat, but i think I either retain water or i have extra skin in certain areas on my face I want to thin out.

Around my mouth, at the ends of my mouth, and my lower cheeks seem as though they are a little puffy or bloated and seem to drupe down or sag ever so slightly. My upper lip, at the ends, curl under a little so it looks as though I am bloated or puffy. I do not have a full upper lip. Maybe a lip plumper will help in this area? Any suggestions?

So, I am wondering, if I use a mask, or maybe something like Dermalogica firming booster, that it may lift my lower cheeks, and stretch my skin so as to thin these areas out a little. I want a full upper lip again, and a less puffy, bloated appearance aroung my mouth and lower cheeks is my goal.
Would a mask, such as the ascension mask, dermalogica, or something else help me?

My budget is very tight, so is there maybe a good cheaper in price product that would help me?

I realize facial exercises will help, but I am looking for a quick (even if it is temporary) fix. I wouldn't mind if I had to wear a mask once or twice a week if it will help stretch my skin so as to thin my face out a little.

Please, if you would, give me some good product ideas. The ascention mask sounds promising, but $90 for only a month or two supply is beyond my budget at this time, plus I don't know if it will even help. I wish they had samples so i could see what it could do. Does anyone know if they do have the samples?

Thank you all for your help! Smile

I'm hoping that others will give you some good advice here because I'm not too sure what to recommend.

The only thing that I can think of is for you to try doing a lymphatic drainage massage for a while and see if the "puffiness" goes down. Also, try sleeping on a thicker pillow so that your head is more elevated (which would help draining fluid away).

Hi mabsey,
Can you explain what this message is for me? Is it something we can do ourselves or is it a special treatment that costs a lot of money?
I would like some info on it if you could let me know. PM me if you would like. Thank you Smile

If you are retaining fluid and can't seem to get rid of it with diet and the proper water intake perhaps you have an allergy??????? If I were you I would ask your doctor. GOOD LUCK.

Lymphatic drainage massage helps to drain away fluids from the face (or wherever) and this is something that you can do youself although salons do it also. I'm trying to find some instructions online but have not yet found any. Will let you know when I do.
