After having a recent serious flare up of roscae, I am a little dry on the chin and nose area. I seem to have these areas under some control now. I think it was new cleansers I was trying that caused the breakout but...
I have recently tried the Jane Iredale amazing base and loved the coverage, but could this also be contributing to the dryness? I have read mineral make-up is not drying, but would like to know what others who use mineral powder foundations think.
Thanks! |

I haven't noticed a problem with dryness from JI powders...Only the appearance of dryness when it goes on too heavy.
You could try one of the JI spritzes to help alleviate dryness. They're great for freshening up your makeup, and preventing cakieness if you put it on too heavy |

When I apply my JI pressed base I do feel a little drier. However, I spritz it with the JI D2O to set it and once I do the feeling goes away and I'm good for the rest of the day. So, perhaps try a spritz like Lianne said? |
