Hey everyone,

I have an unusual request. I need help with a DIY recipe that will help fade or hopefully remove a tattoo. Three months ago my 21 year old daughter had large grayscale wings tattooed across her entire back. The person who tattooed her was not professional, he works out of his home. Imagine how thrilled I was.

Last night she said that she might want to buy removal cream. Removal creams do exist, but their effectiveness is questionable and some may have dangerous chemicals. How dangerous is Hydroquinone? I know many people use it to lighten skin and it is an active ingredient in some of the creams. Other creams have different active ingredients and are considered safer. If
a cream can really work, I am sure someone here can help me create a safer more effective product.

I will list the ingredients of the best products and hopefully someone can give me suggestions.

Thank you for any suggestions.

TAT-Med
Good revives and it looks like safe ingredients.

Ingredients: Distilled water, Seaweed extract, Plankteen Extract, Sea Buckthorn Extract, Water, Cress Extract, Marine Algea, Alpha Arbutin, Hyaluronic Acid, Kojic Acid, Bearberry Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium, Sorbate, and Hexlene Glyco

Could she use a Light stem or mineral lamp with this type of product to increase results?

Fadeplex: Our #1 rated product

Fadeplex Review
Our research staff has concluded that Fadeplex is the best overall tattoo fading cream available on the market because it is not only highly effective, but that it is also very safe as well. Fadeplex contains Chromabright®, which has been clinically tested to lighten the skin. Chromabright® is an ingredient that is not found in any other tattoo fading/removal product on the market. Fadeplex is also a serum based tattoo fading/removal product. It has been proven that serum based products will absorb into the skin much quicker than cream based products can and may show results faster. Our review staff has found that Fadeplex has no known side effects

Fadeplex Pros:
- Does NOT contain Hydroquinone
- Buy 2 get 1 Free Offer
- Formulated for all skin types

Ink Busters is one of two topical tattoo removers on our list which relies on Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) as its primary tattoo removal ingredient. TCA, which is a chemical skin peeling agent, may work for some consumers, but if you are not careful, you can seriously burn and scar your skin. Almost all skin care professionals recommend using TCA in the presence of a trained medical professional in case something goes wrong. According to the manufacturer of Ink Busters, you should only use TCA on your skin once every six weeks to allow for the skin to heal.
This means that it will take quite a long time to remove a tattoo via TCA. Essentially, like all TCA based tattoo removal products, this product essentially contains TCA and water. Please be very careful if you choose to purchase this product from our site.

This company states that their product is made in an FDA regulated lab and uses safe ingredients. While we have seen some reports from satisfied users, the manufacturers of Tat-B-Gone have not made their list of ingredients public. However, we did find a list of ingredients listed on their parent company's website. Much like some of the other topical tattoo removers we reviewed, this product uses too many "natural" ingredients like extracts of Rosemary, Honey, Orange, and Basil. If you plan to use this topical tattoo remover, do so at your own risk.

Tat B Gone Product Information

Today, lasers are the most common method of tattoo removal. They work by targeting the ink with pulses of highly concentrated light that break the ink into tiny fragments, which are then cleared away the your own immune system.

The lasers work great and really aren't that expensive anymore. My laser guy (Bob the laser guy Laughing ) that has been working on my body hair over the past year does this for not even a hundred a session with excellent results with black and blue ink. He tells me that those colors are practically gone with three or four sessions. Well worth the investment with better results than any cream would ever give you.

I agree with going for laser removal too. With fading creams, it would take a looong time. The costs might add up to be the same (or more) compared to laser sessions. And you might be less motivated to continue using creams when you don't *see* any results.
