Has anyone used the Estee Lauder Re-nutriv line? I started it back in June...I've used Lancome, DHC,Aveda, etc. I'm about to celebrate the big 5-0 and I've decided not to age gracefully! My biggest complaints are the crows feet and the lines between my eyes. I wear contacts, so I know I've really been hard on my undereye skin putting in and taking out contacts. But, I'm wondering if anyone has used this line. I think I see improvement, but I think it might be wishful thinking. I'd really like to get rid of those nasty crows feet and lines...any ideas.

Thanks!

I was given this Estee Lauder product by a friend who said it was the best. I saw no improvement and one night when I had put it on late in the day I slept with it on, thinking it would really work. Huh! It gave me 4 milia under my eye which now a year later I still have. Then I found EDS a short time later. My first big purchase was the Remergent DNA Repair (I decided on it after reading many, many posts going back several years). This has done wonders for my fine and not so fine lines. My daughters noticed right away and now one of them who has a lot of photo damage from being an archaeologist uses it, too. I also use Vivier Kinetin-Vitamin C in the a.m. and got interested in MMU and lots of other stuff. Recently, I got OSEA Advanced Protection Cream, after trying the travel size of their products, and really like the Ocean Cleanser, too. I haven't used the cream long enough to really say too much, but it's starting to look and feel really wonderful as a moisturizer, The skin on my face and neck is baby soft, incredible. This is what works on my now normal skin--I used to have dry skin, but since using EDS products I now have normal skin. The Remergent lightens the few sun spots I have on my face and it looks like between it and the Vitamin C, they may go for good. Granted I never had any acne problems and feel for the many women out there who do. I suggest you read, read, read here and see what sounds like it might work for you in that you have similar problems that you want to work on. I also use TNS Illuminating Eye Cream under and around my eyes and am also trying OSEA eyes and lips for day or during the day over and under my sun screen. Sun screen is an absolute must, if you are doing anything to your facial skin. Keep us up to date on how you fare and good luck! And put that Estee Lauder in the back of the cupboard. I don't think anyone has anything good to say about it. I once called it whipped plastic! I was so angry about the milia it caused.

Did not find it much good and like you wanted to get a good night cream well I did I started using creme de le mer and even though its sticky you only need a small bit and my skin has plumped up. Definitely worth a try or even a sample as I have tried so many and this is not a day cream as its too sticky. I am in the same age bracket. I just started using Freeze24/7 during the day under moisturiser and it does what it say lessens wrinkles

OK, so I'm really new to this forum. I spent a boat load of money on the Estee stuff so I'm going to finish it. As I read the many posts, I'm amazed at how many different products people use. How do you know when enough is enough? I used to use the DHC line; liked it OK, but had a facial at an Aveda spa and switched to that. I don't have acne - never did. My biggest problem, again, is the aging of my skin. When I used the DHC products, I had some pretty severe reactions to the products. I worry about mixing products and having them react to each other. So, again, how do I know enough is enough without going bankrupt, because, to put it bluntly, most of the products I'm seeing on this site are pricey. I don't mind spending the money, but I want to know they really & truly work. (Sorry for being so wordy Laughing )

Dear Pearl, I did not get all of that stuff at once. But the Remergent was so amazing that I curtailed my clothing budget since I found EDS, since really the styles don't change that much and I have pretty much everything I need. Now that I found my routine, I am not experimenting hardly at all and it does make me feel good to look radiant and younger than my age! It's great not to be hit or miss in what you get and to see that the products really do something. How often have we bought something and been dissatisfied?

A hint: I got my second Remergent DNA Repair, as my daughter took away my first one (don't get me wrong: I was glad to give it to her), from skin-etc.com Their price is a little less and I think it's free shipping. Once I got my discount from EDS, it now about evens out, but I suggest you look there. The wonderful thing about EDS is that when you order something, you can indicate in the comment box (it took me a long time to figure this out and I still have missed several free gifts because I didn't know that that is where you are supposed to put your requests) what products you are interested in trying and they will send you usually quite generous samples to try, then you can see what you want to order. Definitely finish the Estee Lauder, but if I were you, i would try the Remergent DNA Repair at night and see what it does. So far it has worked wonders on the two people I recommended it to as well. You can squirt out just a little, not as much as the pump is set for, and put it all around your face. It's divine. I give my skin a rest about one night a week. That also makes it last longer--about 4 months and I have a big face Laughing Good luck!

I would also like to take the time to point out i am rather new to this forum. first time i've ever actually been into a forum type setting.

Any whoo, pearl i heard the same thing from my mom who was using the re-nutriv she also just turned 50 in August. She stopped using the Estee Lauder and a co worker of hers actually recommended her a new product which she absolutely loves! Its called Creme Luxury by Artistry. i guess its an Amway product. a lot of her fine lines near the eyes and around her nose have vanished its quite remarkable. and its like half the price of the re-nutri. although i don't have many fine lines to deal with i am seriously thinking of trying it out! i would love keeping my skin looking as young as i can for as long as i can! if you can relate... haha
