I'm about to purchase a pair of Uggs (after debating for over a year!) and would like to hear from anyone who has a pair. Are they really as comfy as they look? Should I order my normal size, or do they come up bigger or smaller? And do you really not need to wear socks with them?! |

I don't have them...but my best friend says that they are super comfy! I'll try to remember to ask how the sizes run. I'm not sure though, because she's the type who wears a 9 and only a 9, even when it's obviously big or small. |

I'm a UK 7 but have been known to squeeze into a 6 just because I really wanted the shoes and there were no 7's left! Wouldn't reccommend this though! Want to make sure I get the correct size as they are quite dear. Thanks for your reply. |

I go a size smaller than what I usually wear. Mind you, I wear uggs around the house in winter and do not use them for outside. It's still a strange concept for me although I've seen some people wear them out. Wouldn't they get dirty *really* quickly though? |

I often wonder that myself! They just look soooo comfy though. Do you really not wear socks with them? And is it true that you Aussies wear them to the beach? Do your feet not just melt in them?! |

I've seen people wearing them around but never on the beach! You also wouldn't want to be wearing them on a day when it started to rain - it'd be all over red rover!
I sometimes do wear socks in them and sometimes don't. Not quite sure what the majority of people do. This is a very new trend here y'know. For years they were very popular as something to wear around the house in winter (given that there's no central heating here). It's only recently that I've seen people wear them out and even that hasn't been too frequent.

I have two pairs (black and taupe) like this http://www.zappos.com/n/p?dp=1268539&c=677 and I adore them. Unfortunately, it doesn’t good cold enough here so I can wear them very often. Also, not to rain on anybody’s parade, but I heard that Ugg boots are now “out” when it comes to being trendy and fashionable. Not that I give a flaming rat’s *ss about being trendy – I’ll wear what I like when I like!! BTW, when I wear mine, I wear a shorty sock but then I’m funny about wearing close-toed shoes without socks unless you’ve bought stock in ‘odor-eaters’ or something. I’m self-conscious about taking my shoes off and having someone say, “What’s that smell?” |
