Hi guys,
Has anyone of you used this foundation before? I just ordered after reading a thread in this forum. How come there is no color for this foundation? It’s just white water pumped out from the bottle. Is it safe to use it for oily skin?
Thanks for inputs. |

there is colour! It's beads of colour in a gel liquid, and they mix when you press the pump!
I have oily/acne skin that's sensitive and the stuff has been great for me. I use it along with the disappear concealer...and sometimes powder on top if I'm really broken out! |

OH! The first couple of pumps are like that...they come out clear. Give it a couple more and you'll get the colour! |

It took me quite a few pumps to get to the pigment when I started using mine as well. Just use the gel you get as a moisturiser in the meantime |

Hey Mabs,
How do you find the liquid ? have you tried the loose powder before ? ie. comparison ??
Getting low on my BE loose powder & thinking about trying JI... (not that there is anything wrong with the BE, just want to give something else a go).

Debbie,
I have used (and liked) BE but having tried the Jane Iredale I would definitely not go back. My favorite is the pressed base but I also like the Liquid Minerals (and they're my mum's fave as well). I have not tried the loose JI powder before but to me the Liquid Minerals give a more dewy result than the JI pressed. As I said somewhere before, and as other people have mentioned, the only problem with the Liquid Minerals is that they catch on drier parts of your face and are then hard to blend. You need to make sure your face is well moisturised before applying. Btw, I seem to recall that the Terry White up on the top level of Garden City has some JI stock (or at least they used to). Ridiculously expensive but possibly a good place to play with testers before you buy

Thanks for that Mabs.
I only work about 100m from there, so will have a look.
