Hi all!
I was just going to order a cleanser and toner but the more I started reading and browsing thru different products the more confused I got
I have dry skin with occasional breakouts on my chin ...( hope it's not too much info.. )
Anyway, I really dont know what to go for. I dont want to get anything that would dry my skin too much and at the same time I dont want anything to rich&creamy..I was hoping to find something that would clear the pores and nurish the skin, improve the tone.
Can anyone tell me about Janson's, Dermatologica, or Dr Haushka products? I was thinking about trying one of those brands.
So far I have been using the Origins line, but I wanted to try something else

p.s. wasnt sure where this topic belongs, hope it's ok to post it on both forums... |

I would say that the Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream sounds like it should suit you. It's not too moisturising, it's not a milky cleanser - rather a gentle yet deep cleansing cleanser that works *really* well to remove the gunk from the pores and make them look smaller. There have been many reviews of it by various EDS members. If you have not read through them then you might want to do a search for it and see if that sounds like what you are looking for. One thing you need to remember though is that this "cleanser" is meant to be used on a makeup-free face. Therefore, while it's fine in the morning, you will need to use something else in the evening to remove your makeup before using this. Also, some people get a small breakout when starting to use this as it's clearing their skin out of "crap". Mine was small and lasted only a few days - very worth the results I got with the cleanser!

ps. Please do not post the same topic in both forums (pls see posting guidelines http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=3228) this is not necessary and it leads to having replies scattered in different threads. I have deleted the other post and have marked this one for a move over to the skincare forum (as this forum is for posting your reviews of products rather than questions about them). |
