OK. I am really anxious to place my first order with EDS. Here's my fear: I live in Canada and the winter cold is unbelievable!! Futhermore, my order will have to travel straight across this freezing country...Recently, I ordered some online skincare for my mom from the Shopping Channel - and when it arrived, the serums had turned into treatment popsicles !!! Has anyone else recieved "frozen orders"? I can't wait till Spring to order but I'm scared my serums will freeze!! Any comments/ideas would be greatly appreciated! |

I've never experienced that. It's usually not that cold in vancouver..
Does the freezing affect how the serums work? |

I'm not sure, Lianne but I know that the C serums can be temp sensititive, no?

How cool to live somewhere like that! ...literally!
I would have thought that C serums would be ok as freezing doesn't affect vit C much, but anything that has different ingredients may split when defrosted. Maybe you could request extra bubble wrap to help insulate them? |

I think that's exactly what I'll do - I'll request a little more bubble wrap and hope for the best! Thanks Guapagirl! |

Hi there,
I know what you mean about freezing temp and way too much snow, I received my first order last week when it was minus 20+ with no problem, the styro peanuts are an insulator as well. |

I was wondering the same thing. My EDS order came last week straight to my rural mailbox, I live in the interior of BC where it's *usually* very cold. My Lush order which came yesterday was not delivered I had to pick it up because they are worried about it freezing. I don't know why one company would worry and the other wouldn't but in the winter, from now on, I am requesting pick up only because I do think extreme cold (or hot for that matter) is fatal for some products. My Lush order was wrong btw, how hard was it to ship 4 small items without getting it wrong? The EDS one was perfect though with lovely samples. |
