I don't post very often.. I'm hoping someone may have some experience or advise. I'm looking at Phytomer's Hydracontinue Instant Moisture cream vs. Phytomer's Hydracontinue Reinforcement cream. Then, they have their Nutricontinue cream. Sigh.
So, when I called to ask about the differences, each gal I talked to couldn't explain the difference or help with a recommendation.
Maybe I'm confused about the difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin...
But, I know I have dry skin and am looking for a moisturizer that will hopefully stick with me through the day so I don't feel dry and tight by 1pm! And I read good things about Phytomer here on an older thread..
So, would love if anyone has happened to have used or use these products. I'm thinking of starting w/ the Instant Moisture one from the descriptions and reviews on Skinstore and dermstore.. but, if the others will have more moisture boost - trying to figure that out.
Anyway, sorry for long post!! THank you so much if anyone has any recs on their products!!

Hey Amy, I am an esthetician and at my spa I use Phytomer.
Let me just make it really simple. The girl explaining is an idiot. LOL
HydraContinue instant Moisture is for normal to combo skin. Someone who is a little more dry in the winter months and a little more oily in the summer. Med moisture.
HydraContinue Moisture Reinforcement Cream is for dry and very dry skin types that are dry all year around. Its a lot thicker too.
If you are saying you are feeling tight by 1pm I would say do the moisture reinforcement cream and use the hydra continue serum under it. Its amazing! They even have a hydracontinue toner too!
Hope that helped.
If you have any other questions about Phytomer message me. |

I had a fabulous phytomer facial when i was in Canada over Christmas. Just finished the products I bought - I have an oily/combination skin.
The products were great, have ordered more thru EDS.I would listen to TheSkinGirl82. |

No problem! I am happy that I could help. I have done a lot of training on Phytomer between when I was in school years ago and working at my spa now. Not to mention I use the products myself. So please ask away! |

I used the oligopur cleanser and toning gel, the hydracontinue base cream, the vegetal peel, eye contour cream and the accept neutralizing cream. I had to use the neutralizing cream because the extractions I had caused some inflammation. I use phytomer over the summer (the last 6 months) and am trying karin herzog for the winter - feels like my skin needs something richer. I can't find a phytomer salon in Western Australia. I really, really like the products. |
