I have never been a big fan of these type of exfoliants as they always hurt my skin to "rub" them off. I tried the Clarins one in my early 20s but never could get used to it.
So a while back I bought another gommage thingys, this time made by Suisse Programme and called a "Peeling Cream"
I have only ever seen this line through Sasa - http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/product/searchProduct.jspa?brandId=22 and just found their company sitewww.suisseprogramme.com - I think it is a line created for and sold exclusively by Sasa
It is not cheap at about US$40 for a 125ml tube, but it definately leaves the skin feeling velvety.
The secret is to not be stingy with the amount of cream you massage onto the face (gentle circular motion) and dont let it dry.. you need to be rubbing it off gently the whole time.
After rinsing the skin certainly does have a "velvety complexion" as the spiel says.
I find that if I have been a bit slow and let it dry that I need to put on a soothing mask after, but it is a nice gentle exfoliation to alternate with papaya peels and microdermabrasion.
Hubby tried a couple of items from the men's line and really liked those too! |
