I received a sample of this from a Decleor counter at a department store. I this stuff and as soon as the sample is used up I will be buying a full sized tube.
I've been using it every morning for 2 months on my face after my Aromessence oil and before I apply my moisturiser. It has done wonders for scarring on my face.
I know it's a big no-no but I do have a bad habit of picking at blemishes. I just can't help myself!
The Prolagene gel has made a noticeable difference to scarring on my face. Whereas a scar may take months to fade completely (because I keep picking at it ) with this product I find that the red post-blemish scars are fading within a matter of a couple of weeks.
The smell is unoffensive. Your typical plant extract type fragrance. The light gel is easily absorbed and doesn't aggravate my spot prone skin.
Another great product from the Decleor range. |

I've also found the prologene gel brill on stretch marks - you need to keep using it for about 3/4 months but it REALLY fades the marks and makes the skin super soft. |

Wow, this sounds like a product that I need to try. I get red marks regardless of whether I touch my blemishes or not, and I had one red mark last almost a year |

You got a free "sample" in the uk??? I thought that was unheard of these days...
Everytime I ask for any samples I'm always told " We havent got any" before they flounce off to serve someone else!!!!!!! |

I'm not always successful at getting samples either. I've often heard the 'we haven't got any' excuse too. Liars!!!!
Still, I've found that with some assistants, as long as you keep them talking and act like you really would like to buy some but you're just not sure it will suit your skin type and you would hate to waste your money on such an expensive product that might not work for you, blah blah etc. Often, if you keep them talking for long enough they get so bored that they shove you a handful of samples to get rid of you.
I never go into a shop and ask for a sample outright. Best is to ask if they sell the product in a small, travel size. Then if they mention the word 'sample' - jump in and ask for one.
It's ridiculous that some companies won't readily give out samples. Some products are so expensive and there's nothing worse than forking out ££'s on a product only to find that it doesn't work. If they genuinely believe that their products work they should be happy to give out a sample. |

It depends on how old the scars are. This product is fantastic on new scars. I've not really tried it on old scars so not sure how well it would work. Hopefully, somebody who has tried it on an old scar will turn up soon and give some feedback. |
