Just purchased these products Elta sunscreen UV Daily SPF 40. It's a sunscreen and moisturizer all in one. Plus it's vegan! Great product. It's surprising it's tough to find this brand. |

I've been using EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41 since last year and I love it. The best sunscreen I've found for me thus far. There are many days I just use that a bit of concealor and powder and I'm good to go. |

That sounds good! Can you tell if this is safe for anyone that is acne prone?
I use elta Clear and I liked it, but I was not happy with a particular ingredient and the fear that my vitamin C would not work. |

I don't know if it would be good for acne prone skin. It doesn't seem oily to me and since it's tinted it doesn't leave that ghost whitish cast like most sunscreens do. |

The white cast does not bother me because I am so pale.
Yesterday, at the emergency room, the nurse turned to my husband and asked him if I am always this pale. During my screaming, that caught my attention and said "what?" I never realized how pale I looked. lol |

I think the one I use would be good for your skin color. I'm pretty fair myself and the tint in the one I use is quite pale but on the tint side of pale, not white. I don't think it would work well on those with darker skin. |

AnnieR, how does the Elta compare to the Revision? |

I prefer Revision just on a daily basis. The Elta is definately heavier for me but it is great when I am going to be in the sun for extended periods.
Revision is a bit darker in color, so if I use Elta I do usually use makeup with it or over it. |

I also prefer EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41 since its ingredients are pure physical |

Perfect. Thank you. I am loving the Revision and how it makes my skin look, so I am continuing on with it for daily use. |

I use Elta MD Shield SPF 45. It doesn't break me out and I have very acne prone skin. |

One quick question...I see there is matte and regular. Which one do you use? |

I use the regular, as I have dry skin and I don't like a matte look. |

I use eltaMD UV Shield SPF 45 oil free sunscreen and I love it! I'm african american and initially when I put this on, I get a little white cast, but after a few minutes, it sinks in and you can't tell I'm wearing it. It's great stuff! It also doesn't seem to aggravate my acne prone / dehydrated skin. I think when I wear this, my acne doesn't leave marks as dark as they usually do. (whether I pick or not, acne always leaves marks on my skin) |
