Hi. I'm new here though I've been lurking for some time.
I did a search on milia on this board and have come up with some very helpful advice:)
However my milia is not disappearing. I've tried many products, including Paula's Choice BHA gel, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, ACV, Steaming pores, Mary Kay Microderm kit, and some others. I even tried various enzyme or exfoliating masks. Nothing is helping much. I can't say that those products have nothing at all, but nothing spectacular.
My milia is deeply embedded in the skin and the skin covering it is thick. I tried extraction on one large seed connected to my lips. But it became swollen and red. I don't think extraction will help. They are small but very noticeable and driving me insane. I think I've had them my whole life though they weren't noticable when I was younger. I'm 28 now and I want them gone.
I guess I am wondering if anyone has tried any new products (the threads I read are old) lately and can share and give some advice?
Also I know about the Naturilis treatment, but I've read some very bad reviews about it so I'm so hesitant to buy it.
Thanks. ![Crying or Very sad](images/smiles/cry.gif) |

Well just thought I'd say that my milia seems to be improving since I started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA gel. It's much better than the 1% obviously lol. The smaller milia are vanishing. |

Hello. I, too, have issues with very small milia. I use and like PC products, including her 2% BHA. I am also a long-time user of Retin A.
NOTHING I have ever tried, except professional extraction, has had any impact on the milia, and I have tried many, many, many things. Professional extraction is the best solution, IMO. It's the only thing works for me.
I know this is a frustrating problem, and I hope you find something that works well for you. |

That is disheartening Elvisshops... I want to believe SOMETHING out there works One of my problems is that my milia is too deep under the skin for extraction. The skin on top is quite thick, and extraction sounds painful
My next venture is to try a TCA peel. It's supposed to penetrate the epidermis enough to work so I hope it does do something. ![Embarassed](images/smiles/redface.gif) |

I hope that works for you. Is this a TCA done by a derm? I know some ladies go the DIY route. Please keep us posted. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
