My hairdresser first introduced me to this wonderful oil a few months ago during my hair appointment, and as they say the rest is history.
The Moroccan Oil is a versatile hair product, made from the oil of the Argan tree. For centuries Moroccan women have used this miracle oil to treat hair and nails, and to counteract the effects of the hot climate and the aging effects the heat has on there hair, skin and nails.
Moroccan oils weightless non-greasy formula seals in shine, is perfect for all hair types, and won't cause build-up on the hair. You will notice a dramatic improvement in the feel and look of your hair after just one use.
You only need a very small amount, as less is more with this product. For me I use this as I would a treatment about 3 times a week. I find my hair hasn't looked and felt this good in years.
I also find that the drying time of my hair has reduced by half and I have less fly-away's and split ends. This is definitely a miracle product which I will continue to use and rave about highly to all my friends and family.
If your hair isn't looking it's best I would highly recommend you purchase this and be well and truly on the road to shiny, lushes locks. I promise once you try this you will never look back. |

I've not yet tried the Moraccan Oil product (branded version anyway) but have tried a few others. The argan oil does help my hair as well though I still have my frizzies.
I'm tempted to splurge and buy the MO at some point and see if it works better than the other oils I've tried. I want to buy a smaller bottle but can't find the Light version in anything but the big bottle in local stores.
There are several threads on the MO if you want to read more about others success with it. |

I am currently using MO shampoo, conditioner, and just bought a tx. Love it! It makes my hair feel very soft and healthy, even though there is a lot of breakage and damage. |

Moroccan oil has been an HG product for me and my daughters. It leaves your hair so shiney and soft and I love the smell. Wouldn't be without it! |

Do you guys all have darker hair?
I'm a blonde which is why I need the light version as the regular one will stain blonde hair. |

I have blonde hair and so do my daughters and we use the regular version and have never had any "staining". You are only supposed to use a small amount (pea size). |

I have been using Moroccan oil for about two years and I love it. I have blonde hair and it doesn't darken the color at all. I have a lot of hair but it is fine, I can't even look at a conditioner without my hair going flat....so I was very skeptical about using an "oil" on my hair. I was pleasantly surprised to actually have more body in my hair by using it and of course shine. It makes the highlights in my hair pop and keeps my hair in great shape. I use a very little with each application....and I mean very little...just a dab...not even a pea size and it is enough for my shoulder length hair. If I had course or curly hair I might use a little more. Although it is expensive it goes a LONG way! Stylist like it because it speeds up the hair blowing time. |

I think if you're going to use products like moroccan oil, you should try macadamia products. I used moroccan oil before and all it did was just make my hair smell good. It also contains a lot of silicones which just helps your hair look good at the beginning.. but when those cones start building up, it really damages your hair by preventing moisture from getting in - pretty much like a shield. I'm not sure if they changed their formulation recently or not, but macadmia products are definitely better in my opinion |

My husband (who has long dark hair which is not damaged) can not live without MoroccanOil - he thinks it's the greatest product ever. I however, do not agree. It really didn't do much for my long, heat damaged, color treated blond hair. It didn't control frizz better than the average hair serum, nor was my hair any shinier than usual.
I have met a few others who share my husband's love of this product - and they all have dark hair. Perhaps it is just a coincidence but maybe MoroccanOil is better suited for brunettes.
It does smell great, however - very similar to Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male EDT. |

A friend of a friend swears by this stuff (she is also a brunette). Her hair was so damaged by constant heat styling and colouring. When her stylist turned her onto this, she said the improvement was incredible. I'm very intrigued by it. I have blonde highlighted hair, but I've been fairly blessed with its good condition (I rarely heat style, though). I have a dupe version from Sally Beauty and although it softens my hair, its not a monumental difference. |

I love this stuff!
I'm now on my 2nd bottle. Bought 1 for christmas for mum, she cant stop raving. She perms and colors her hair a lot, and her hair is quite dry and damaged. She said the oil made her hair very very soft.
You dont need a lot, just a tiny amount on your hand, then rub it together , and through your hair...And the smells is wonderful too! |

This does wonders for my very long, dark, curly, frizzy hair. Don't get fooled thinking it's pure Argan oil. It's a silicone based product with a small amount of oil. However, silicone works well with my hair. I've never had a problem with build up, but I do use strong shampoos (I have SD/psoriasis) so I presume they clarify my hair somewhat.
Interested to hear about macadamia so might try that as well. |
