After receiving a few emails and PM's concerning Reviva and Janson -Beckett I thought that the subject should be clarified on the forum.
Reviva is a skin care manufacturer and the parent company of Janson Beckett. Reviva manufactures skin care products for many large skin care companies. Their line is sold in many health food stores and private labeled for salons. A skin care manufacturer may have similar formulations but potencies differ for retail/salons.
Janson Beckett is owned by Ian Strassler (son of Mr. Strassler, President of Reviva Labs). Janson-Beckett has it's own skin care line (AlphaDermaCE, Mineral Prep, Okusil) and manufactures for salons. JB's salon products potency is much higher than Reviva Line. Though many of the ingredients are the same the percentages in the products are higher and blending differs. The best way to make this easier to explain is by car models. Honda has several car models. You can buy an Accord or Civic (both good cars with Honda reputation). One model, although both Honda will have different price tags and features.
If you like Reviva products certainly keep using them. The company has been making skin care products for 30 years with a loyal following. Janson Beckett's salon products are not the same as the Reviva products I have been asked about. Just wanted to make this clear to everyone who has asked me. Until now I did not feel comfortable addressing this subject until I got my facts from Janson-Beckett.
Please feel free to call Janson Beckett's office with any questions you might have concerning Reviva/Janson-Beckett.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Winnie. I did notice that many of the Reviva products seemed very similar to JB's. I did, in fact, purchase a few Reviva items but did not notice any improvements/results - not as much as the JB products I have. Now that I know for sure that JB's are stronger it's worth the few extra dollars to actually see results. |
