Basically the main ingredient in Vitamin C serum is L-asorbic acid. I'm assuming the L stands for "live" or somewhat fresh.
So why not use fresh squeezed lemon juice or something of the sort. Is the serum more potent.
I heard of lemon juice for freckles and stuff, is it as effective? |

I think lemon juice has been used for homemade toners or in face masks with oats and stuff. I think it could sting if your skin is sensitive. |
