Hey hey!
I am still on the lookout for a moisturizer...
Can you guys help me out and recomend/tell me what products you use?
I have dry skin, and I am interested in a moisturizer that will be a good hydrator, that wont make the skin shine all day or make it sticky. I also love products that are packed with Vitamins, Antidoxants etc.
Are there any mositurizer that would add a glow and even out the skin tone as well? ( Ok, I know I might be pushing it now lol )
Would appreciate your thoughts!

Aga -
If you check out makeupalley.com, you'll find GREAT reviews for an Origins product called "Never Say Dry". It sounds wonderful, and I may try it myself.
I currently use either Rosayfruta's Ambrosia or Skinceuticals Emollience. But the Emollience may not even be enough for me - tho it is for normal to dry skin. I love the Ambrosia, but it may be too heavy for you, especially since you're such a youngster! lol!
I'm going to see if I can find a sample somewhere of the Never Say Dry.

I am pretty sure you would like the Elizabeth Grant Serums. They give 24 hr moist skin, is very light and a pea size is all you need on the face and neck. |

Mariav,
I like some of the products from the Origins line, esp the Skin Rejuvenating Cream.
Let me know how Never Say Dry works for you!
SusieQ,
I have heard about the brand you mentioned but I havent tried anything from their line yet. I am going to check into that!
Thanks for the info ladies!

MD Formulations advanced antioxidant hydrating complex is excelltent as a day time moisturiser. can't place this product enough. Also they do a hydrating face mask for use 3 times a week. I have only been using these products for 5 days now as i had a break from using them. But have splashed out now and am so glad that i did. |

Aga, I thought you were going for Decleor. I hope you dont change your products as often as your mind, else your skin wont know if its coming or going Also it may be a reason as to why you are getting breakouts. |

I agree with Cindy. Aga, by the time you spend all this money on product you could have a consultation with a facialist. Most good salons let you sample products before you spend a lot of money. By continually using different products on your skin the problems are only going to get worse.
Now, I really am sounding like the mother here. Sorry!

hehe, youre right girls!
I did get some new products, but I am not sure if its all that bad and if its really overloading
I got eye creams, I used to never use anythng on the eye area until now.
I got Dr H cleansing Cream, Rose Cream, JB Exfoliant, Vit C and Essential Balm.
I am looking for a moisturizer because the one I am finishing I dont really cre for much and just wondering if theres anything better out there
As far as decleor, I wanted to get a firming moisturizer, but someone made me realize that I dont need a firming treatment yet so I am back to square one.
I know I should find a good esthetician and when I have a little more time I will get right on it!

Aga, your only 23 so you definately do not need an anti aging or firming moisturiser, you need a good hydrating one for your dray skin. I recommend Delceor's HydraFloral or any of their non anti aging moisturizers. |

Hi Aga,
I just started using Dermalogica's Active Moist last week, and I really like it. I was a little hesitant about it at first because of the mixed reviews, but it really moisturizes and hasn't caused any breakouts (BTW I'm 24 w/ dry/combination breakout prone skin). I really like the texture of this lotion as well, not too thick or thin. Also, i'm just starting to use the MD Forte treatment lotion, and the active moist has kept my skin from becoming dried out. Too bad it has no SPF though - for days that I'm not wearing my mineral makeup, I still stick with my Eucerin Renewal lotion, which has an SPF 15 in it. Works great also and is very inexpensive... |
