Finally Clear Skin!!!! Before I went to the derm I had cystic acne so bad I could see deep huge painful bumps sticking really far away from my face. I admit I am a picker and I tried every product under the sun to fix my face. I started Microderms and an AFA skincare regime and my skin has made a HUGE comeback in just 2 weeks. I am getting tons of compliments and I do not need to cake on make up to cover blemishes in the am. I do have scaring but even that is getting better. Cleanse: AFA Cream Cleanser for Normal to Dry skin ($27 for 6 or 8 oz...you get a lot)
Soap free but does lather a little but not too much. Leaves skin VERY smooth and clean...even takes off my makeup (I use it on eyes even though it says not to...takes off everything)
Moisturize: AFA Oil Free Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin ($35 for 1oz)
This stuff is out of this world...it looks like it would be really thick but it sinks in so fast its almost hard to rub in bc it disappears so fast. Moisturizes really well but does not feel heavy at all. It is a little hard to put makeup on over bc it can ball up but mineral makeup works fine and liquid does if you don't rub real hard.

Cleanse: AFA Cream Cleanser
Peel: AFA Exfoliating Gel Plus ($75 for 1 oz)
This peel feels really tingly when you first put it on...makes you want to itch not painful. The feeling fades after awhile....the results from this product are more than I can explain. Scars becoming less noticeable....pores shrinking...over all glow..quickly healed blemishes. I cant say enough good things about this stuff.
**No moisturizer** This was hard to accept bc i'm doing microderms so I thought my skin would just dry out but it's not at all.
1x per week Microderms....after 5 I'll go to 1x a month.
My lady also told me that shampoo can be a source of many breakouts and suggested Dove shampoo bc it does not contain a certain pore clogging ingredient (cant remember what it was). She also said its a good idea to tie your hair up at night and to change your pillow case frequently. I've been doing all these things and my skin is looking so good. |
