Hi all, I was lucky to receive a sample of this yesterday along with some goodies from EDS so I treat myself to a mini pamper last night I was suprised it was power which I mixed with a bit of water on my hands and then spent 1 minute gently using the palms of my hand to massage my face. It didnt feel gritty at all, it was a paste, so I wasnt expecting much to happen. Was I suprised when I washed it off, my skin was actually squeeking it was that clean and felt so super soft. I was most impressed. Ive just ordered the Dr H cleansing cream as so many people rave about it and I expect it to be the same, except its already mixed, so if its as good as thing, I'll be well chuffed. If not, well the dermalogica will be an express order |

I wasn't able to resist anymore after the 10000 raving reviews that I have read about this product. I just put in my order for my first bottle of microfoliant and now I am eagerly awaiting it. |

Hello New Members.
I used three new products this weekend, Janson Beckett Skin Prep, Dermalogica Microfoliant and I used the Neroli Oil from Decleor. My chin has dried out and a bit red and flakey. Not sure what caused it but am sure it will get back to normal soon, whatever normal is
If I do end up with the Dermalogica I probably wont do it daily but maybe twice weekly. |

Microfoliant is one of my favorite Dermalogica products. I have normal skin and I can use it on a daily basis (if I'm not using anything else exfoliating). Dr H Cleansing Cream leaves your skin feeling substantially different though. After the Microfoliant my skin is super smooth and brighter, but I do need moisturiser. After the Dr H Cleansing Cream my face feels very comfortable and I could almost get away with no moisturiser (though I use it anyway ). Microfoliant is a good exfoliator as is the Dr H, but the Dr H also is a gentle deep cleanser that sucks out impurities from your pores. |

I am one of the few that is not in love with the Microfoliant. My skin didn't have any horrible reactions to it or anything though I do think that it was a bit drying, but it was just an okay product to me. I use Dermalogica's Skin Prep Scrub on the days when I want to exfoliate. I'll use it alone or mix a little of it with my cleanser if I want a lighter exfoliation. Now IT always leaves my skin wonderfully soft and smooth after I use it. But not the Microfoliant. All of our different skin reactions and quirks are such a funny thing. |

I really like it too... although I agree that it is a little bit drying, but as soon as you moisturise that is completely fixed. I wonder sometimes whether maybe it's more a matter of not having rinsed thoroughly enough that causes the initial slight tightness? ( Im oily/combo)
My HG exfoliator is still Dermalogica's Gentle Cream Exfoliant, it leaves my skin feeling as good as it's ever going to get!
I still use Daily Microfoliant regularly though but not everyday...maybe 3-4 times a week.
You know what it feels like to me? If you could make a paste of ( I dont know if they still make this!) a fizzy lemony smelling antacid drink called Eno... and scrubbed your face with it? Just not really fizzy like that of course! |
